Amazing Footage of the Moment When Two Men are Tossed Aside by a Bull Elephant…

While enjoying a leisurely brunch on safari at Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe earlier this month, two men got more than they bargained for when a bull elephant came to visit.

“My family had a close encounter with an elephant while having brunch in Mana Pools,” writes Shane Wolf. “We were told to stay as still as possible and did so, the young bull got a little surprised when it saw us, as they have bad eyesight. Luckily nobody was hurt and the staff did an amazing job scaring the elephant away. I love these amazing animals and still do, the land is theirs and we must respect this.”

So how should you react if you were in a similar situation?  Rory Young, a professional guide, ranger and tracker, with more than 23 years in wildlife and forest management advises, “If you encounter non-predatory dangerous game such as buffalo or elephants, then get the hell out of there ASAP.”  Young continues, “The only way to summarize what to do and how to behave is a single word: RESPECT!”

The daring video footage below shows the moment when the elephant approaches the diners at the outside table and proceeds to toss aside two men with his tusks.  They are certainly extremely lucky to have escaped without serious injury don’t you think? Have you had a close call? Would love to hear…

To view more close calls, check out the video of tourists who were almost carjacked by a lion!…
